Reverse Hydraulic Handbrake Package Specification
When drifting, OE cable handbrakes quickly reach their limit, especially as speeds increase and if your vehicle has larger tyres. A hydraulic handbrake is the effective, long term solution !
This handbrake had an inverted design : if you install it the “classic” way, you will need to push the handle in order to brake, instead of pulling the handle (see photo). This particular design allows to reverse your installation, so that the master cylinder will end up being at the front of the handbrake, not behind as usual. This design is recommended in narrow interiors, where installing standard hydraulic handbrake can be difficult. It allows you, for example, to place the master cylinder under the dashboard.
This handbrake has a 36 cm lever, giving you the ergonomics required. Lightweight and strong, its high quality ball jointed design ensures a short stroke, while guaranteeing no mechanical play. To be used in vertical position only, it provides power and reliability for your rear brake calipers.
